Ladies and Gentlemen of Chester County! Welcome to the Fine Arts Classroom Webpage!
I'm your host, Becky Hartle, the Chester County Elementary Fine Arts Teacher. I teach at all three Elementary Schools (West Chester, East Chester, and Jacks Creek) in one of their Special Area Classes.
We meet once a week for 30 minutes and learn about the Fine Art subjects: Music, Art, and Theater. Your kids will be learning about the basics of all three subjects through various activities such as: acting, musical performances, art projects, and so much more!
I enjoy the learning process and the many different areas of growth students show from day 1 all the way through the last day of third grade. I have had students at the beginning who have been shy and would not participate in class activities that required them being in the spotlight that now will be silly and laugh with their friends in every activity in class. I have also had students develop a strong passion for the arts to the point of making a career out of it one day!
My goal for your child is to develop an appreciation for the Arts as well as grow more confident in their talents and abilities as a well- rounded student! I'm thankful for the opportunity to teach what I love to the kids that I love!
