I’ve been married to my husband Kevin for 22 years. We have a son, Blake, 19 and a daughter, Kaylea, 16. I have been teaching for 11 years. I taught for half of a year in 4th grade at Chester County Middle School. I have taught the remaining 10 1⁄2 years in kindergarten at East Chester Elementary. I graduated from Jackson State in 1992 with an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science. I transferred to Union University and continued my degree in Computer Science and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science. I later returned to school and received my Masters degree in Education. I graduated from Freed-Hardeman University with a degree in Elementary education in December 2006. I have an endorsement in K-8. Before I became a teacher, I was working as a computer programmer. I prayed for a job where I could make a difference in the world. God gave me kindergarten. I find great joy and honor knowing that I am helping mold the lives of our future citizens and potential leaders.
