Welcome

Image for Welcome

On behalf of the East Chester Elementary School faculty and staff, I would like to extend a huge Eagle welcome to you as we enter into the 2018-2019 school year!

At East Chester Elementary School, our mission is to help each student to become a successful, independent, and self-disciplined individual.  One of the primary ways we accomplish this goal is to provide personalized instruction for our students, focused on the Tennessee standards. Throughout the school year, teachers work tirelessly to create lessons that challenge and support each student in their classroom.

Another way we accomplish our goal is by partnering with you! As a school community we must continue to work together and set high standards for our students. I ask that you continue to help us as we work to make your student successful. Ask to see your student’s daily work, contact his or her teachers, and encourage your child to always do their best!

East Chester is continuing our tradition of academic excellence. Student achievement continues to be our top priority and we work very hard to meet the individual needs of all our students. We value our parents as their child's first teacher. We know that parents are valuable partners and we encourage our parents to visit our school, consult with our staff and participate in school activities. We also invite you to become aware of what our curriculum has to offer and the resources used to educate your children. We realize that a first rate elementary school education is essential preparation for student's long term success. With your support, East Chester Elementary School will continue to be a positive environment where everyone learns and succeeds. East Chester truly is a place "Where Eagles Learn to Soar!"

Again, I am looking forward to working with you and your student during the 2018-2019 school year. Please feel free to contact me if you have and questions or concerns. Together we can make a difference for our children!

Sincerely,

Kim Scott
